Executive & High-Achiever
Burnout

For people whose drive, discipline, and high performance have quietly become the thing costing them most.

When success starts to hollow you out

There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from years of performing at the highest level. It is not simply being tired. It is a depletion that goes all the way down — into identity, into meaning, into the sense of who you are when you are not being productive.

Those who achieve the most are often the least likely to seek help. The drive and self-sufficiency that built their success also makes it genuinely difficult to admit that something is wrong — or that it cannot be fixed by working harder.

What burnout actually is

Burnout at this level is not a scheduling problem. It typically involves a deep disconnection from personal values, chronic suppression of emotional needs, perfectionism and control patterns that have become exhausting to maintain, and often underlying anxiety that has been successfully managed — until it isn't.

It can look like exhaustion, cynicism, emotional flatness, increased use of alcohol or substances, or a creeping sense that something important is missing.

My approach

I work at the intersection of clinical therapy and practical coaching — which is precisely where burnout needs to be addressed. Therapeutic work explores the patterns and identity structures that have led here. Coaching work rebuilds a relationship with life and work that is sustainable.

I understand the specific pressures of high-performance environments, and the way they can reshape a person's sense of self over years. This is not generic stress management — it is specific, serious work.
